American Horror Stories: Ryan Murphy Developing AHS Spinoff Series
According to Deadline, Emmy winner Ryan Murphy is developing a new American Horror Story anthology spinoff series titled American Horror Stories. In a new Instagram post, which you can view below, Murphy explained that the new series would feature “one hour contained episodes.”
American Horror Stories will reportedly serve as a companion anthology series to the long-running mothership series, with each episode serving as a standalone ghost story. The new series is expected to air on FX like American Horror Story.
Like other film and TV productions, AHS Season 10 has been delayed. The new season will be led by series alums stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock. It will also feature new cast member Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), which will mark his first major TV role since appearing as a guest-star in last year’s Hulu comedy series Dollface.

FX reports that the series’ total audience is over 1 billion total viewers across its 103 episodes and nine seasons. American Horror Story, which has featured stars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Lady Gaga, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, and many more during its run, has received 95 Emmy nominations and won 16 times, as well as two Golden Globe awards.
