The Flash Shuts Down Production Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Deadline is reporting that The Flash is the latest series to halt production due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show’s unit manager Brent Crowell sent a note to the cast and crew announcing the shutdown “until further notice” beginning today.

The Flash joins Riverdale, another Vancouver-based WBTV/Berlanti Productions series, in suspending production. Riverdale shutdown production two days ago after a crew member apparently came in contact with coronavirus.

Other series that have, at this time, either delayed or halted production include American Ninja Warriors, The Amazing Race, Bull, Card Sharks, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, Dynasty, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, The Flash, Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order: SVU, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, New Amsterdam, The Price Is Right, Riverdale, Survivor, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Angelyne, Carnival Row, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Foundation, Grace and Frankie, The Good Fight, Little America, The Morning Show, Russian Doll, Rutherford Falls, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and The Wendy Williams Show.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen aka the speedster hero XS, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton with Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, and Jesse L.
