Netflix held a fan event called The Witcher Experience yesterday in Hollywood, and it was a very immersive experience featuring plenty of magical photo booths, musical performances from bards, mysterious potions, and an interactive walkthrough experience where you can channel your inner sorceress or sorcerer. Those who attended also had the chance to see the cast from the upcoming Netflix series including Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri), and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. To top it all off, fans were treated to the first episode from the series before it premieres on Netflix.

Upon entering The Witcher’s The Continent, guests had the option of partaking in many different activities. These included helping a bard come up with a song, watching a band perform like the olden days, and posing in different photo booths. One photo booth had guests summoning lighting in a bottle and another had them wielding a sword.
The Witcher Experience’s main attraction was the immersive walkthrough experience. The first room had guests standing behind a table and repeatedly chanting a magical phrase in order to lift an object. The next room featured a dining hall in the Lioness castle. Finally, guests traveled into a dark forest and saw the ravings of a madman. (Or is he?)

Roach also made an appearance at The Witcher Experience, and guests were able to pet Geralt of Rivia’s trusty horse.
