Disney+ is almost upon us, and one of the most highly anticipated original series from the streaming service is The Mandalorian. Lucasfilm brought Jon Favreau on board to write and executive produce along with Dave Filoni. The streaming service has revealed the release dates and synopsis for the first three episodes of The Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 1 – Tuesday, November 12
“A Mandalorian bounty hunter tracks a target for a well-paying client.”
The Mandalorian: Chapter 2 – Friday, November 15
“Target in-hand, The Mandalorian must now contend with scavengers.”
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3 – Friday, November 22
“The battered Mandalorian returns to his client for reward.”
The Mandalorian will take place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi. It follows the Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer region of the galaxy, far from the eyes of the New Republic.
The series stars Pedro Pascal as the titular Mandalorian, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Nick Nolte as Kuiil, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog as The Client, Taika Waititi as the voice of IG-11, Bill Burr, Mark Boone Junior, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Natalia Tena, and Julia Jones as Omera.
Disney+ launches on November 12, 2019. It will include content from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more.
