Jon Heder to fight Graboids in latest Tremors film
The series that just won’t quit is back with Tremors: Island Fury, which just announced the casting of Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Richard Brake (Three From Hell), Caroline Langrishe, and Jackie Cruz, who join series stalwart Michael Gross in the seventh installment of the B-movie franchise (not including the TV series and short films).

As a side, Gross first appeared in Tremors the day after Family Ties ended. Let that bit of trivia sink in.
Gross announced the casting news via his Instagram account. One notable name missing from the list is Jamie Kennedy, who decided not to reprise his role as Travis B. Welker from Tremors 5: Bloodlines and Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, much to Gross’ dismay.
Per the report by JoBlo, the plot synopsis is as follows: “The deadly Graboids are back, illegally brought in to a new island resort by a rich playboy looking for a trophy hunt.”

Also starring in the film are Cassie Clare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Matthew Douglass, Randy Kalsi, Bear Williams, David Asavanond, Boonma Lamphon, Aukrawut Rojaunawat, Iris Park, and Mikey Black.
Filming will begin in Thailand this month.
