Our homie -KM- hit us up with some tragic news from a few days ago. A Juggalette named Tonya “Syko” Short unfortunately and unexpectedly passed away. She was only 26, and was involved in a ton of promo for underground artists and labels. KM does a great job speaking on what she meant to everyone from her online homies, to her close personal friends and family. Check out his statement below.

The Killa-mo 187 family lost one of their own over the weekend in Tonya “Syko” Short. who died unexpectedly and suddenly at the young age of 26. Her contributions included not only online promo work for Killa-mo 187 dating back to 2009’s TWA but also vocal contributions as she made her debut as a musican on the song “Twizted Luv” on KM’s 2012 album “The Final Countdown”. That would be followed up with her own solo song titled “Ragdoll” [which you can listen to at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6PGfQZ3Orw] which was to be on an album that never got finished that was titled 2 different titles. Matter of fact I still have a beat I made in 2012 for the project she requested. Might get used now in tribute.

Tonya was a juggalette through and through, she was a huge fan of Sicktanick and SKR and even went as far as to have Sick’s name tatted on her back. She was a “no fucks given” woman with a heart of gold and would always help out those in need which is a rare thing for people her age. She took the name “Syko” over an obsession with one of horrorcore’s biggest eyesores Syko Sam (whom none of us like to talk about) and even exchanged letters with McCroskey. I knew Tonya what would now be 10 years. I was 25 and she was 18, and we just instantly clicked. We lost contact for a bit over decisions (we all have demons) and other things but recently we reconnected and she came to my defense out of nowhere when I found myself in a bit of a controversy. She’ll greatly be missed by many and I’m a better person for knowing her
