The fall season at Crunchyroll just keeps getting better and better as the streaming provider has added more to their seasonal lineup. Joining an already extensive list will be Food Wars! The Fourth Plate, True Cooking Master Boy, and NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019.
Available starting Friday, October 11th at 9:30 AM PST, “Food Wars! The Fourth Plate” continues the culinary journey of Yukihira Soma, whose super-elite cooking school, under the strict rules of its new director Nakiri Azami, has restricted students from cooking freely anymore. This forces Yukihira and other students to rebel. Now, the time for 2nd-year exams has arrived, and as Central keeping putting pressure on its students with some even being expelled, Yukihira continues to fight and to turn things around, he and his friends challenge the new Totsuki Elite Ten to a Group Shogkugeki.
Sticking with the theme of cooking, “True Cooking Master Boy” which begins on October 11th as well, follows the protagonist Liu Maoxing who, during the 19th century China, wins the title of Super Chef as the youngest in history to do so. Liu goes on a journey across China to broaden his cooking skills, a recommendation made from his master Zhou Yu. When he returns, he teams up with his friends Xie Lu and Lei En to fight the Underground Cooking Society, a task that he had taken after his mother’s wishes. Liu learns about the secret of the eight legendary cooking tools, which leads him on a journey to protect from the underground cooking society.
For the thousands of Naruto fans, Crunchyroll has launched the “NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019,” a special event to mark the first publication of the Naruto series in the Weekly Shonen Jump 20 years ago. The special program will feature live stages by artists which will include anime cast members reading the original story episodes.
The cast will include Junko Takeuchi (as Naruto Uzumaki), Noriaki Sugiyama (as Sasuke Uchiha), Chie Nakamura (as Sakura Uchiha), Nana Mizuki (as Hinata Uzumaki *only on Oct 6), Yuko Sanpei (as Boruto Uzumaki), Cocoro Kikuchi (as Sarada Uchiha), Ryuichi Kijima (as Mitsuki), and Kensho Ono (as Shikadai Nara). The live show will be available starting October 9th at 6:00pm PST and will run until October 10th at 6:00pm PST.
