No one can accuse Calli death metal heroes Exhumed of false advertising. Their new video for the track “Naked, Screaming and Covered in Blood” is a love letter to the nastiest and (lowest budget) ’80s slasher flicks, you know, those old straight-to-VHS classics that Mortician based their entire fucking discography on. That, of course, perfectly aligns with the concept of Exhumed forthcoming new LP, Horror, which will see the light on October 4 via Relapse.
“We’re excited to share this video nasty with all you creeps and mutants,” exclaims Exhumed fromtman Matt Harvey. “There’s a NSFW version [the one below] that hews closely to the title, and then a tamer version that won’t upset the bloated corporate entities that have insidiously slithered their way into our music-consuming activities.
