Written and directed by Dan Krauss (O.J. Made in America), the film is based on the 2014 documentary of the same name about a private in the US Army who witnesses war crimes at the hands of his squadron in Afghanistan and the fear he begins to feel for his life as he works with his father to expose the murders and corrupt acts they are committing.

Wolff stars as Private Andrew Briggman and Skarsgård as Sergeant Deeks, with a cast that also includes Dunkirk star Adam Long, Numb3rs and Billions alum Rob Morrow, Black Mirror‘s Osy Ikhile and Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s Anna Francolini.

The film is produced by Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Adrian Guerra and Isaac Klausner, as well as the production banners Nostromo Pictures and Temple Hill Entertainment and will be distributed by A24 after having acquired the rights in November.
