Gamescom 2019 is happening this week in Germany, and it’s one of the biggest video game conventions in the world. A lot of new announcements and trailer have been released, and Gearbox Software has joined in on the fun with a new Borderlands 3 trailer. Your favorite Borderlands characters are back, and in the video, they give players the rundown on what to expect in the upcoming first-person looter shooter.
Lilith, Claptrap and more talk about each of the Vault Hunter and their specialties, the new villains, split-screen co-op, new weapons, and vehicles. Check out the trailer below.
In addition, Gearbox Software creative director Paul Sage took to the stage with Geoff Keighley during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, and he revealed two upcoming game modes. Get ready for challenges with the new Proving Grounds and the return of the Circle of Slaughter arenas, and these modes will help you get top-tier loot.
In the Circle of Slaughter, you’ll have to survive against waves of enemies in five rounds. In the campaign, you may find yourself in the Proving Grounds, where you will race against the clock as you eliminate enemies and taking down a boss in 30 minutes or less. Get better rewards for beating the Proving Grounds without dying, completing it in a short amount of time, or killing the Fallen Guardian.
And if you’re going to Gamescom, you can play the Borderlands 3 demo where you can play as FL4K the Beastmaster, Amara, Moze, and Zane.
Borderlands 3 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13.
