2019 has been a good year for Keanu Reeves with films like John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Netflix’s Always Be My Maybe. Next up is the continuation of Bill & Ted with Bill & Ted Face the Music, and the film is currently in production. A teenage girl named Emily has kidney disease, and her favorite movie from the actor is Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Her wish at Make-A-Wish was to meet with Keanu because she “loves his movies and his personality.”
Her wish came true last week. Not only did she get to meet Keanu Reeves, but she also got the chance to visit him on the set of Bill & Ted Face the Music in Louisiana. The actor and the teenager hung out, and he was there to help answer her questions and give autographs. In addition, she was able to eat lunch with the cast and crew and observe the filming of a scene.
“It was an unbelievable day,” said Emily’s mom, Deborah. “She hasn’t been this happy in months! Keanu seemed to be having as much fun with Emily as she was with him.”
Synopsis: Yet to fulfill their rock ’n’ roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
Bill & Ted Face the Music will be directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Red 2) from a script by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who both wrote Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.
Bill & Ted Face the Music hits theaters on August 21, 2020.
