New Borderlands 3 video has us returning to Pandora with Claptrap

Claptrap Borderlands 3

It’s been some time since we’ve seen a Borderlands game, with the last one being Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel back in 2014. However, this year fans will finally get to play Borderlands 3, and they will be seeing the return of many fan-favorite characters. The upcoming game will have a lot of features including having over a billion different weapons. After all, this is a looter shooter we’re talking about. A new video has been released with Claptrap giving us a tour of Pandora in the new game.

Even though we have Claptrap showing us the creatures and world of Pandora, it’s more of an excuse to show off the game’s comedy. The robot is having difficulties with the presentation as a Psycho is struggling with the camera.

There will be plenty of new content released until the game’s launch during the summer, so stay tuned for new trailers, special one-offs, and character profiles for the four new Vault Hunters.

During E3 2019, fans were able to play a demo of the game. The core mechanics is still the same along with the stylized design and humor. Expect features like animated skins and having the option to colorize them. Emotes will also be available as well as weapon trinkets and skins, which you can apply to over a billion weapons.

Next up is GuardianCon 2019 in Florida, which is happening on July 5 and 6. Gearbox Software will be talking about the game’s Twitch extension, social features and more during its panels. The first panel, Borderlands 3: At the Corder of Social and Streaming, is on July 5th at 2:30 p.m. The second panel, Borderlands 3: Meet the Vault Hunters, will be held on July 6th at 11:15 a.m.

Borderlands 3 will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC on September 13, 2019.
