John Travolta gets creepy in The Fanatic trailer
Quiver Distribution has released the first trailer to The Fanatic (via The Hollywood Reporter), starring John Travolta as a fan overly obsessed with a celebrity. Check out the trailer in the player below!

In the film, Travolta, in full on creep mode, plays a man named Moose, who is obsessed with celebrity Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa). When Hunter fails to live up to Moose’s heightened expectations, things get deadly as “not every Hollywood story can have a happy ending.”
The film is directed by Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, and co-stars Ana Golja. This is the third feature film for Durst, who also directed 2007’s The Education of Charlie Banks and 2008’s The Longshots.

Travolta recently starred in The Poison Rose alongside Morgan Freeman, as well as Trading Paint opposite Michael Madsen.
The Fanatic will stalk theaters beginning August 30.
