Westworld Season 3 trailer with Aaron Paul feels like a new series

I still need to finish the second season of Westworld (Yes, shame on me), but I wanted to share this new trailer with you all for Westworld III, aka, Westworld Season 3. It premiered at just the right time with the final episode of Game of Thrones on HBO. The trailer looks like a completely different series, especially with Aaron Paul joining the cast.

With the new trailer, we get to see the futuristic world outside Westworld, and the world is sleek with some of the designs looking like something out of Tron: Legacy. “Brain Damage” by Pink Floyd is played in the background as we see futuristic outfits changing on the fly, flying ships, self-driving motorcycles, and robot helpers. As for Aaron Paul’s character, he seems to be a criminal who’s longing for something more in life. That is until he meets someone new.

Of course, Westworld fans will recognize the lady at the end of the trailer. Paul’s character asks her if she needs help, and that’s when we recognize Dolores, who is now in the real world.

The cast featured in the teaser trailer includes Even Rachel Wood, Aaron Paul, Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi, and Marshawn Lynch. The show is created by executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and they are joined by executive producers J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis and Ben Stephenson. It’s based on the film written and directed by Michael Crichton.

Synopsis: WESTWORLD is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth.

Westworld will premiere on HBO in 2020.
