Pixar’s modern fantasy, Onward, features Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as brothers

Onward

Disney and Pixar are getting ready for the release of Toy Story 4 later in June, but that’s not stopping them from letting audiences know about their upcoming film, Onward, which comes out in 2020. A new teaser trailer has been released, and it gives viewers a taste of a modern fairy tale featuring elves, gnomes, and dragons. One thing is missing though, and that’s magic as if it’s a legend. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can look forward to the voices of Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), who are brothers in the film.

Synopsis: Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest in a van named Guinivere to discover if there is still a little magic left out there.

The film is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae, the team behind Monsters University. Tom Holland voices Ian Lightfoot and Chris Pratt voices Barley, Ian’s older brother. Julia Louis-Dreyfus joins as the voice of Mom.

Onward releases in theaters on March 6, 2020.
