Jessica Jones Season 3 Will Debut on Netflix In June

Earlier this year, Netflix completed its Marvel purge by canceling Jessica Jones and The Punisher. While The Punisher‘s second and final season had already debuted, Jessica Jones season 3 was held back. But now, Netflix has finally given an indication about when the final season of Jessica Jones will arrive. It just came in the most low key way possible.

In a tweet touting Netflix’s upcoming June programming, through its genre oriented NX account. Note that it promotes Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse with premiere dates. But Jessica Jones’ third season is only mentioned at the end, without a premiere date of its own.

June is just nine days away, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for Netflix to promote the new season. In fact, it seems like Netflix isn’t all that interested in pushing Jessica Jones. So far, there have been no trailers, no footage, nor even a new picture from the show. Compare that to the massive promotions that other Netflix originals receive and the writing is on the wall. Jessica Jones is simply not a priority for Netflix.
