Hideo Kojima debuts two Death Stranding teasers ahead of reveal
Anticipation is growing to an all-time high for the next mystery project from legendary video game director Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding. The Metal Gear Solid creator has taken to Twitter to debut two bizarre new teasers ahead of the promise of a new reveal on May 29.

From Kojima comes an all new, genre defining experience for the PlayStation 4. Besieged by death’s tide at every turn, Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time. What is the mystery of the Death Stranding? What will Sam discover on the road ahead? A genre defining gameplay experience holds these answers and more.
The game features an ensemble cast of small screen and video game talent led by The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus, Hannibal‘s Mads Mikkelsen, Spectre‘s Léa Seydoux, The Bionic Woman‘s Lindsay Wagner, The Last of Us‘ Troy Baker, Constantine: City of Demons‘ Emily O’Brien and The Shape of Water‘s Guillermo del Toro.
Kojima first announced the game at E32016 to rave reception from fans and critics, with only a teaser trailer for the project being shown that gave audiences a look at the mysterious and dark world while revealing nothing of the story or gameplay.

The 55-year-old director is best known for creating the Metal Gear Solid series and directing all but one of the entries while also directing the wildly acclaimed psychological horror P.T., which was intended to be a prequel demo the a new installment in the acclaimed Silent Hill franchise before the project was cancelled.
