Christopher Nolan is definitely one of Warner Bros’ favorite directors since he’s done plenty of projects for the studio like Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight Trilogy. The studio is so trusting of Nolan that he’s able to have an unannounced movie complete with a release date in 2020. Well, the film’s title is finally revealed, and it’s Tenet.

In addition to the name of Nolan’s film, Warner Bros. has announced that Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla), Kenneth Branagh (Thor), Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Trilogy) will be joining the cast along with Dimple Kapadia and Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter films). John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) is leading the cast including Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki.

The film is an action epic featuring the world of international espionage, and principal photography will take place in seven countries while using IMAX and 70mm film.

It’s being produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas and executive produced by Thomas Hayslip. Hoyte van Hoytema is the cinematographer, Nathan Crowley is the production designer, Jennifer Lame is the editor, Jeffrey Kurland is the costume designer, Andrew Jackson is the visual effects supervisor, and Ludwig Göransson is the composer.

Tenet hits theaters on July 17, 2020.
