Edifier, an audio company that specializes in the production of premium sound systems that has a strong emphasis on innovation and elegant design. A few months ago we had a chance to test and review their E255 home theater system, and we were surprised at the audio quality it produced while still being an affordable system.
During CES 2019, Edifier showcased a handful of new products that prove that the company has no plans of slowing down. One of the most notable products they had was their new S3000PRO bookshelf speakers. A pair of wireless speakers that can be easily set up in your home or office.
The S3000 Pro has active wireless 2.0 speakers that will have a 6.5” aluminum alloy diaphragm for the bass driver and is paired with planar diaphragm tweeters. With these two working together, the S3000 Pro will be able to produce clean sounding and powerful bass that will easily fill up your room with great audio.
The speakers will feature a Qualcomm Bluetooth V5.0 chipset with aptX HD codec support. That means you won’t need any wires to get a clean signal from your music device to the speakers. The speakers will also include an XMOS xCore200 USB interface that will take any digital audio signal that has up to a 192KHz sample rate. A digital amplifier with DSP based electronic crossover and dynamic range control will also be built in, and KleerNet proprietary technology will ensure that the speakers maintain a clean connection.
Edifier also announced some new additions to their current lineup of gaming headsets. The new headsets they’ve debuted will cater to gamers who either play on PC, consoles, or on mobile. The Gm3 is a pair of in-ear gaming headphones that will have 10mm drivers built in. The headphones will have a CSR8645 chip, which will offer high transmission while utilizing low power consumption. It will also have support for aptX audio decoding and CVC voice noise reduction. With all that power and style, the Gm3 will have a battery life of 10 hours with a power display.
For the hardcore and serious PC and console gamers, Edifier announced the G2II, G4 Pro, and the G7. The G2II has a high performance 50mm neodymium driver, which aids in clear highs and lows. It will have a retractable gooseneck microphone with 360° adjustment. Designed to be lightweight and comfortable, the headset will have leather ear cups and will be paired with 7.1 that will enable 360° surround sound.
The G4 Pro will have a 40mm unit with built-in 7.1 virtual surround sound and built-in vibration effects to make you feel the action. It will be lightweight and feature leather materials for comfortable gaming. LED lighting effects will be included, as well as a retractable and flexible omnidirectional microphone. Now for the elite gamers, the G7 will be the headset for you. Comfort wise, the G7 will have a flexible headband that will contour for maximum comfort and will include breathable earmuffs. You’ll get RGB lighting effects, a retractable gooseneck microphone, and voice effects for optimum play. Sound wise, 50mm drivers will be delivering the 7.1 virtual surround sound with high-resolution decoding. The G7 will also feature Active ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) on both sides to give you clear and perfect sound.
