Scare up your Halloween with VRV’s curated horror list

For the entire month of October, horror aficionados have been scaring up their costumes to prepare for Halloween. The 31st is a day where people can dress up as their favorite characters, or just celebrate the art of the scare. Regardless of how you spend Halloween, there’s no denying that most people will be watching a scary movie or two.

Streaming service VRV has an entire library full of Halloween titles that cater to any age, but with Halloween just around the corner, they’ve compiled a list of 13 essential titles that you should watch that will get you ready for “All Hallows Eve.”

Here are the 13 titles VRV recommends to get your heart rate jumping:

VRVs Halloween list has some good horror classics added to it. There’s the iconic slasher ‘Halloween,’ along with the pivotal undead flicks, ‘The Evil Dead’ and ‘Re-Animator.’ On the list, you’ll also find Alfred Hitchcock’s renowned films ‘Psycho’ and ‘The Birds.’ To add some diversity to the list, VRV has also included a few animated series for fans who are looking for a more lighter fare. Rounding out the list is a couple of anthology series. Channel Zero, a critically acclaimed series has been scaring up the SyFy channel, while Creepshow 2 brings a little bit of humor to some ghastly ghost stories.

In addition to the list, VRV’s Shudder Channel has an extensive list of horror titles to choose from. Shudder a horror streaming channel carries horror titles that you might have never even heard of, as well as some specially curated lists by some of your favorite celebrities.

Halloween is the time where we can let our guards down and let a little bit of scare into our lives. If Haunted houses or mazes aren’t your thing, VRV has you covered. As you can just sit back, pop some popcorn, and dive into some classics that really know how to frighten us.
