Aquaman is a superhero character that has been made fun of for the longest time now. Maybe it’s the colors of his superhero costume or the fact that he “talks to fish.” Whatever it is, there has been more memes about Aquaman than any other superhero out there. Admittedly, I have also made fun of the character as well. However, fans of the aquatic superhero won’t have to defend him any longer. After seeing, the trailer for Aquaman you won’t make fun of him anymore.
During their Warner Bros panel today, James Wan and the cast of Aquaman revealed for the very first time footage from the highly-anticipated solo film. It’s so impressive that Warner Bros decided to end the panel with Aquaman instead of their other titles. So check it out!
James Wan has always been a director with a great taste for visuals. However, some of the clips in the trailer is something I haven’t really seen before from a technical point-of-view. Not to mention, the grand scale and fantasy aspect of the film. Visually, it’s very similar to the epic scale of the Lord of the Rings. The costumes and production design are very well done.
However, let’s hope that the land scenes are just as interesting as the Atlantis scenes. The biggest problem with Thor was that Midgard wasn’t as interesting as Asgard. With James Wan at the helm, there shouldn’t be any problems with that.
