Amazon Prime has released a new trailer for their exclusive series Jack Ryan following a popular character from the book series that has been donned by such actors as Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck. Backed by Paramount TV the Jack Ryan TV series exclusively on Amazon, will feature John Krasinski as the title character alongside Abbie Cornish and Wendell Pierce. The first episode will be directed by the Oscar-nominated director Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game and Passengers).
This isn’t the first time Krasinski has played an action hero as he was one of the stars of Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and had recent success as the writer/director/actor in the film A Quiet Place. He is primarily known as the lovable Jim from The Office but with all the recent success, he has proven that he can lead any kind of film.
It was announced through twitter by John Krasinski himself in a tweet showcasing the trailer.

Jack Ryan official synopsis: “When CIA analyst Jack Ryan stumbles upon a suspicious series of bank transfers, his search for answers pulls him from the safety of his desk job and catapults him into a deadly game of cat and mouse throughout Europe and the Middle East, with a rising terrorist figurehead preparing for a massive attack against the US and her allies.”
