Ever wanted to spend a cool-weathered evening watching a classic film on the rooftop of a building in a major city? Welcome to the Rooftop Cinema Club. Currently operating in 5 major cities (Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Miami, and London), they specialize in giving you an amazing and one-of-a-kind movie viewing experience.
First off, the films are screened on large projectors on rooftops overlooking the backdrop of a gorgeous city. If you’re concerned about the normal noise of the city drowning out your audio, fear not, as you’ll be using some of the most sophisticated wireless earphones that will block out everything else around you. That way you can focus on watching and enjoying your film.
Ever sat in uncomfortable chairs at the movies? You don’t have to worry, as seating is covered with some very comfortable deck chairs and leg room to spare. Finally, the experience wouldn’t be complete without the actual movies themselves. These aren’t your average run-the-mill films either, we’re talking cult classics here. Films like Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Big Lebowski, The Breakfast Club, and more!
For those that are in and around the LA area, films will start premiering as early as April 4th, and will be available at two different locations: The Montalban in Hollywood and Level in Downtown LA.
