Long live in the king in the new Black Panther TV spot

Black Panther - Trailer #1

It’s a night full of Black Panther goodness! Fans got to see Kendrick Lamar perform his new song “All The Stars” during the National Championship halftime show. “All the Stars” is the first song from “Black Panther: The Album” which Kendrick Lamar is both curating and producing. For this reason, it’s a great segue into the brand new Black Panther TV spot.

The 90-second spot features some footage previously unseen from the past trailers. In addition, the TV spot also announces that tickets are now officially on sale. Similar to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Marvel announced that each theater will come with some theater exclusives. Check them out below!

  • Those who watch Black Panther in Dolby Cinema at AMC will receive “Black Panther” #1 (2016)
  • The first showings of Black Panther in IMAX at Regal Cinemas will receive a collectible ticket.
  • Getting your tickets through Fandango will net you an exclusive poster by artist Jon Moody from the Fandango Fanshop
  • Alamo Drafthouse fans can add a MONDO glass to their ticket purchase.

At the same time, Marvel Studios is throwing an Opening Night Fan Event where attendees will get to see the film an hour before everyone else. In addition, fans will get a collectible coin, see exclusive content, and receive a special event only concession offer.

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Black Panther hits theaters on February 16th.
