Universal is premiering the trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom tomorrow, and it has been hyping fans up with a trailer tease. Today, it has released a behind-the-scenes video featuring the cast and filmmakers talking about the film. In addition, we get some shots of old and new dinosaurs including the T-rex, Carnotaurus, and Baryonyx.
Of course, Jurassic Park fans will be excited to see the return of B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu and fan-favorite Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm.
Jurassic Park featured impressive CGI dinosaurs, but the thing that made it real and scary were the animatronics. And it looks like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will have plenty of animatronics. With director J.A. Bayona behind the camera, it looks like we’ll be getting some creepy and intense scenes. (He did direct the Orphanage, a horror film that was praised by critics.)
And fans of John Williams’ score will hear the familiar Jurassic Park theme, except this version is a little darker and using minor notes.
The film is directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls, The Orphanage) and stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), B.D. Wong (Fox’s Gotham), Jeff Goldblum (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), and Justice Smith (Netflix’s The Get Down).
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters on June 22, 2018.
