Although there are rumors floating around that Nightwing is currently in the casting process, director Chris McKay has confirmed that the process for casting Nightwing hasn’t begun yet. Although many of us are projecting who we think would make a great Nightwing, nothing is official. This means it is nothing but speculation at this point.
Although no premiere date is set, Nightwing is definitely a film that we are looking forward to. Chris McKay is set to direct the film from a script written by Bill Dubuque, who also wrote The Accountant.
Nightwing/Dick Grayson was the first Robin and has been part of the Batman mythos since 1940. He is now more well known as Nightwing after splitting off from Batman and became his own hero. He and Bruce Wayne have a “normal” father and son relationship where they love and respect each other, although they sometimes don’t see eye to eye. When Bruce was presumed dead, Dick took up the mantle of Batman and is seen as the second in command to the Batman family. He is hands down the best ally that Batman has due to his many skills, which includes being an acrobat, an expert tactician, martial artist, detective, spy, and expert in high-tech gadgets and weapons.
We haven’t started the process of casting NIGHTWING yet but when we do you’ll hear something because our search will be far and wide
