Star Wars Battlefront II single player trailer has epic rendition of ‘Imperial March’

Star Wars Battlefront II

Ever wondered what happened to the Empire right after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi? With Darth Vader, the Emperor and the second Death Star gone, there has got to be someone in the Empire looking to retaliate, yes? Well, with Star Wars Battlefront II, we get to see that story. Enter Inferno Squad, an elite Imperial group.

EA has released the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Single Player trailer, and we follow Commander Iden Versio (Janina Gavankar) on a mission to take out the Rebellion.

Star Wars fans will get to see popular characters like Maz Kanata, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Kylo Ren. My favorite part about it all is the epic take on the “Imperial March” track. Who knew it can be so emotional?

The single-player campaign is developed by EA’s Motive, founded by Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available November 17, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Also, check out this video featuring Gavankar on her gaming habits and why it’s good to be platform agnostic. She also discusses the importance of indie games including Oxenfree, how she had a strict upbringing that prevented her from gaming as a child, and her love of Uncharted 4.
