Prepare for Stranger Things season 2 with the final trailer

stranger things season 2

Netflix knocked it out of the park when it released Stranger Things back in June of 2016. It created a huge following, and you can feel the hype if you attended San Diego Comic-Con this year. The Netflix activation was promoting The Defenders and Bright. But the biggest piece they saved for last was Stranger Things, where fans could ride on the bicycles like the boys and play games on an ’80s arcade. Now Stranger Things season 2 is finally coming later this month, and to get fans really pumped up, the final trailer has been unleashed.

We will get to see our favorite characters returning, and the icing on the cake is the synth soundtrack playing in the background. (I got goosebumps just hearing the score.)

The second season will take place a year after the first during the Halloween season in Hawkins, Indiana. The boys can be seen dressed as the Ghostbusters (how fitting), as seen in the creepy teaser trailer that definitely pays homage to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” In addition, the final trailer shows the return of Eleven, and she has a new hairstyle. (Could it be a new wig?) Will is back and this time he and the gang will be trying to save the world together. Who knows what horror awaits in the alternate dimension, the Upside Down.

Stranger Things season 2 will be premiering October 27 on Netflix.
