It’s been a while since we’ve seen some live-action orcs in the world of Middle-earth. The Lord of the Rings trilogy offered plenty of creepy and menacing Orcs, but that was soon soured by the disappointing CG ones in The Hobbit trilogy. Thankfully, Middle-earth: Shadow of War has a new live-action interactive trailer that features some of the most impressive Orcs yet.
The new trailer is part of the “Campaign That Never Forgets: Friend or Foe,” where it highlights enemies that remember what you’ve done to them. It is directed by Neil Huxley (Avatar, Watchmen) with cinematography by Fabian Wagner (Game of Thrones). In addition, the trailer captures the Nemesis System where viewers will have to make choices that will affect them later on in battle. Will the Orc become an ally or an enemy?

Middle-earth: Shadow of War takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. And once again you’ll be playing as Talion, a Gondor captain who has special abilities thanks to his merger with the wraith and elf lord, Celebrimbor. (He’s the one who created the Elven Rings of Power.)
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, Xbox One, and PC on October 10, 2017.
