Untitled Space Movie announced by DisneyToon Studios
It’s just been announced at the D23 Expo that DisneyToon Studios’ next original animated movie will open in theaters on April 12, 2019. Check out the first-look image from the untitled space movie in our gallery below!
The feature will explore the future of aviation, taking moviegoers to the edge of discovery in the air and beyond.
The film is directed by Klay Hall and Bobs Gannaway, and is said to take place within the same universe as the Cars and Planes franchise. The early footage showed high-speed advanced jets (with eyes) that can exit the atmosphere into space.
