Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs movie is set for an April 20, 2018 release
Fox Searchlight Pictures has today released an Isle of Dogs movie poster along with the announcement that the Wes Anderson stop motion feature will hit the big screen April 20, 2018. The Isle of Dogs movie marks director Anderson’s second animated film, following the Academy Award nominated Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009. Set in Japan, Isle of Dogs follows a boy’s odyssey in search of his dog. Check out the teaser poster design in the gallery viewer below.

Produced by Indian Paintbrush, the voice cast for the Isle of Dogs movie includes F. Murray Abraham, Bob Balaban, Bud Cort, Bryan Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Kunichi Nomura, Edward Norton, Yoko Ono, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber, Tilda Swinton, Akira Takayama and Frank Wood.
“Wes Anderson is one of the most talented filmmakers of his, or any other, generation,” said Fox Searchlight Pictures Presidents Nancy Utley and Steve Gilula when the Isle of Dogs movie was first announced

Building upon the successful collaboration on The Grand Budapest Hotel, Anderson, Scott Rudin, Steven Rales and Jeremy Dawson return as producers while Fox Searchlight Pictures will distribute the film in partnership with Indian Paintbrush.
