BBC and the World of Hargreaves have revealed the next books for their mash-up of Doctor Who with the Mr. Men/Little Miss series. The storybook mashup, written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves, will combine the storytelling of Doctor Who with the humor and animation of Roger Hargreaves’ Mr. Men.
The first four books that will be released will be Dr. First, Dr. Fourth, Dr. Eleventh and Dr. Twelfth. They will be available tomorrow April 25, 2017 on Amazon and Amazon UK.
After the release of the first four titles, BBC will release the next batch of Doctor Who/Mr. Men mashups on August 29th, 2017 of Dr. Second, Dr. Seventh, Dr. Eighth, and Dr. Ninth. They are available for pre-order on Amazon now.
There is no word on when the other Doctor Who-Mr. Men mashup books will be released, but it will probably be announced in August, after the release of the second batch. I wonder if they would consider adding John Hurt’s War Doctor into the mix. Would he become Dr. War or Eight and a Half? I do hope we get to see some of the popular companions in the books as well.

Penguin Young Readers, a division of Penguin Random House is the master publisher and will release twelve titles, one for each Doctor.
