Going through a movie marathon is tons of fun. This is especially true when you do a movie marathon with other passionate fans such as yourselves. It’s a communal experience that we want to share with you from the comfort of your own home.
That’s why we’re presenting our first-ever Watch-Along Movie Marathon event on Saturday, March 11th starting at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET/8 pm GMT. The theme of this marathon is “Heroes Divided” which chronicles the key events that lead up to Captain America: Civil War. These films include Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and ending with Captain America: Civil War.
The event will start hopping around 11 am on Facebook Live, Twitch, and YouTube and at 12 pm PT/3pm ET, everyone will press play on their players and everyone will be watching the same movie at the same time! We will continue to do so until we’ve watched every movie.
The schedule of events are as follows:
- Captain America: The First Avenger: 12 pm
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier: 2:15 pm
- Avengers: Age of Ultron: 4:45 pm
- Captain America: Civil War: 7:15 pm
Our Nerd Reactor hosts, Narvin, Mark, and Eddie will be giving away random prizes throughout the marathon and provide color commentary on the films as well. In addition, they’ll be running a trivia and scavenger hunt throughout the marathon where the person with the most points at the end of the event will win the grand prize: 6 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Funko Pop! vinyl figures.
