Spider-Man: Far From Home is the followup to Avengers: Endgame, and it made $39 million during its opening day on Tuesday, July 2nd. The next day it was able to make $27 million. With almost everyone off on the Fourth of July, it was able to make $25 million. The 3-day total is $91 million, and we still have a whole weekend ahead of us.

Analysts are predicting that the film could make as much as $173 million to $180 million for its 6-day gross. In addition to Spider-Man: Far From Home grossing $91 million here in the States, it has made $218.5 million internationally. The worldwide total so far is $310 million, and at this rate, we could see the film making $500 million by the end of the weekend. That’s halfway to $1 billion, and some are predicting that it could be the first Spider-Man movie to reach $1 billion at the global box office.

Spider-Man: Far From Home has the cheapest production budget second to the 2002 Spider-Man movie with $160 million. Spider-Man‘s production budget was $139 million, Spider-Man 2 for $200 million, Spider-Man 3 with $258 million, Amazing Spider-Man with $230 million, Amazing Spider-Man 2 with $250 million, and Spider-Man: Homecoming with $175 million.
