First, Marvel conquered the comic book world, then they conquered the film world and now they’re looking to conquer the seas. There’s no stopping them! Of course, partnering with Disney has helped them grow, and now Disney Cruise Line announced that they’re adding a “Marvel Day at Sea” to several of their cruises out of New York.
It seems these cruises give both parents and children something to do. During the daylong cruises, parents can go off and enjoy some traditional activities such as a day at the spa while their children can live their dreams by hanging out with popular super heroes like Captain America, Thor and Spider-Man. Other activities include a deck party featuring themed pyrotechnics and Marvel character appearances, trivia games, arts & crafts and themed food & beverage.
If that’s not enough, you can view screenings of films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the newest theatrical releases, as well as viewings of the Disney XD shows: Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Marvel‘s Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The “Marvel Day at Sea” cruises will commence in October 2017.
