TV fan-favorite John Lithgow is lending his immense talents to the upcoming movie, Pitch Perfect 3. Variety reported today that the multiple Emmy-winning actor, best known for his role as the patriarch alien of the Solomon clan in Third Rock from the Sun, has been tapped to join the cast for the third go round of this smash music comedy film.
Details about Lithgow’s character are still under wraps, but he should be a welcome addition to a cast that has consistently demonstrated charm and chemistry over the course of two films.
Pitch Perfect 3 is directed by Trish Sie and is scheduled to release on December 22, 2017.
