Director Taika Waititi was asked about a recent image from the set which hinted at Dr Strange being a part of the upcoming Marvel film, Thor: Ragnarok. In the tweet below you can see where twitter user GranteELewis zoomed in on a post-it note that Chris Hemsworth was holding, and you can clearly see that it, is in fact, the address to Sanctum Sanctorum: 177A Bleecker Street in New Yorks Greenwich village (according to comic lore).
But was this just a tease, or was it part of something bigger that could be hinting at what’s to come in the upcoming film?
“Ohhh I don’t know, I am not sure if, I don’t know actually. I can’t comment on it. It may have just been something for the fans,” responded Waititi in a statement released to Digital Spy in regards to the newfound information.
And when asked directly if Dr Strange would be making an appearance, he gave an elusive answer.
“Might be something like that, might be a little tease. Or maybe a tease just for people who wanted to zoom into that photo.”
