For many people, Lights Out was considered to be one of the best horror movies to come out this year. That’s surprising considering that Lights Out had The Conjuring 2, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Don’t Breathe, Blair Witch, and The Shallows as competition. That’s why it’s not surprising to hear that Lights Out director, David F. Sandberg, has been tapped to direct the sequel to the lackluster Conjuring spin-off, Annabelle.
Judging by the announcement trailer, Sandberg is employing his creepy tactic of using sound and bodily contortions to strike fear into audiences everywhere. Check it out!
How many times can you say “NOPE!” before the unnatural bodily sounds stop running through your head? All kidding aside, the announcement trailer for Annabelle 2 looks way better than the first film. It’s got a creepy atmosphere and a demonic child. What else do you need?!
