Lupita Nyong’o Is A Zombie-Fighting Teacher In Little Monsters Red-Band Trailer
NEON has debuted the first red-band trailer for the upcoming zombie horror-comedy Little Monsters showing Lupita Nyong’o’s energetic Miss Caroline fighting off the walking dead and keeping her students calm in the midst of a brewing apocalypse, which can be viewed in the player below!

The film follows Dave (England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a shine to the plucky schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kid’s show personality, and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak, from which Dave and Miss Caroline must protect the children.
Keith & Jess Calder’s Snoot Entertainment and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories are producing the film which had received major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Create NSW. Snoot’s Keith & Jess Calder are producing alongside Made Up Stories’ Papandrea, Jodi Matterson, and Steve Hutensky, with Jeanne Snow executive producing. Protagonist Pictures is handling international sales.

Starring Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther), Josh Gad (Frozen) and Alexander England, the film had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. You can pick up Black Panther now on Amazon.
Little Monsters is set to be released by Hulu and NEON sometime later this year.
