Mark Hamill says Luke Skywalker lost his virginity

Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill

There were fans who were upset about the fate of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He was the main character in the original Star Wars trilogy and was pivotal in taking down the Empire. In The Last Jedi, he was a grumpy old man who used Force Projection to save the small group of the Resistance. Since Luke has been living as a hermit for many years, there was a fan who wondered if he died a virgin. Mark Hamill, who played the Jedi, responds to the question.

Hamill said that it’s not confirmed whether Luke died a virgin in the actual films. However, in his own version, his character had sex.

We really don’t see Luke in a romantic relationship in the original trilogy, other than when Leia, his sister, gave him a kiss. (Of course, they didn’t know they were related at that time.) Fast forward to the events in The Last Jedi, and we have Luke living in isolation and sacrificing his life to save the Resistance.

Mark Hamill has been vocal about his thoughts on the direction Rian Johnson took for Luke Skywalker, saying that The Last Jedi was good at killing the past.

We have seen dead Jedi returning as a Force Ghost like Anakin Skywalker and Yoda. Will we see Luke return as a ghost in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? We’re hoping so, especially since the movie is hinting at the rise of Skywalker. It could be anything, but Abrams has revealed that it will make sense when fans watch the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is written and directed by J.J. Abrams, with Chris Terrio as the co-screenwriter. It stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20, 2019.
