Jimmy Kimmel Live hosting Avengers: Endgame week

Deadline reports that ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live is hosting a blockbuster week of guest stars in the next week of shows with the stars of the highly-anticipated next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame.

Though not all members of the cast will appear, the late-night talk series, which was in Las Vegas last week, is going to host a bevy of the film’s all-star roster with Iron Man‘s Robert Downey Jr, Black Widow‘s Scarlet Johansson, Ant-Man‘s Paul Rudd and Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth. Tuesday will see the appearance of Black Panther‘s Danai Gurira, Wednesday will feature Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner (Tag) and Thursday will welcome War Machine performer Don Cheadle (Black Monday).

Last year’s Avengers: Infinity War saw the titular superhero team take the fight to Thanos in order to stop his attempt at exterminating half of the universe’s population with the Infinity stones. But it was to no avail, as he was able to successfully collect them all and snap his fingers, wiping out half of all life from existence in a cloud of ash.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Confirmed cast members for the fourth Avengers film so far includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Sean Gunn, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Katherine Langford and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will open on April 26.
