Alita: Battle Angel opened this past weekend and became the top movie at the box office domestically with $42 million as of today and $137 million worldwide. The audiences, in general, have been enjoying it, and the film is fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with 60%. Newcomer Keean Johnson plays Hugo, the love interest for Alita, and when asked about which superhero character he would like to play, he actually reveals that he wants to play villains, particularly the Joker.
“I’ve always dreamed of playing the Joker or any villain,” Johnson tells Nerd Reactor. “I think villains are the best to play.”
He added, “It’s the kind of the f*****-up nature of bad villains. It’s where my head is at.”
