HyperX announces new mobile Esports Arena debuting at CES 2019

During CES 2018, Allied Esports debuted one of the first ever mobile esports arenas. The truck was known as DRIVE, which was a fully loaded truck carrying some high-end machines for a full-blown esports event. The truck will be returning to CES 2019, but this time, it will have a slight difference.

Allied Esports, a global esports entertainment company has announced that it has signed a multiyear naming rights agreement with HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technologies. This agreement will take the truck formally known as drive, and rebrand it to now be known as the HyperX Esports Truck.

This agreement will expand HyperX’s presence at gaming, entertainment, lifestyle, and music events around the country. With a push of a single button, the truck will unfold into a state-of-the-art, 35-ton, 80-foot, 18-wheel, semi truck which will present a self-contained mobile arena. The arena will feature a competition stage with full production facilities, a caster studio, social media center and of course, a VIP lounge.

This past November, HyperX announced the naming rights to HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas, and now with the new truck in tow, the relationship between HyperX and Allied becomes even bigger. Daniel Kelley, HyperX director of corporate marketing said:

“Having the HyperX Esports Truck, and beyond, gives us even more opportunities to reach gamers at tournaments, festivals and sports events in 2019.”

HyperX will also be debuting a brand new innovative advertising campaign that is inspired by their slogan “We’re All Gamers.” This campaign will feature HyperX esports, traditional sports, and music ambassadors, all which will be incorporating their own unique vision into the campaign. The campaign will be expected to be seen across broadcast, digital, and social channels in 2019.

According to NPD, HyperX has achieved the No. 1 position in PC gaming headset revenue in the U.S. for two years running. With their sudden increase, HyperX continues to expand its influencer roster by welcoming music superstar Post Malone, as a new brand ambassador to join the HyperX family. There are over 550 esports players and gaming influencers that are included in HyperX’s family of ambassadors, which also includes some superstar athletes, such as Gordon Hayward of the Boston Celtics, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings, and Juju Smith-Shuster of the Pittsburg Steelers.

Going beyond CES 2019, visitors of the Las Vegas strip will be able to see the newly revealed HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas and large signage installation at the Luxor Hotel.
