Ride 3 is coming later this month, and Milestone has announced that its upcoming racing game will have 30 tracks. Of the 30 real race tracks spread across the globe, 12 will be new with 6 located in the States. Additionally, many of the tracks will have different versions that will change how you race.
To make the digital tracks accurate, the team used aerial photogrammetry and drone-scanning. However, other tracks will be a combination of real-life and stylized tracks. An example is the Macau track that is known for its lights and urban setting. The team created a faithful track while also heightening the aesthetic in terms of vibrant signs.
With 30 different tracks, Ride 3 offers a nice change of pace in scenery, especially with the country tracks with beautiful open spaces and wide fields.
