The universe’s most lethal hunters get an upgrade in first The Predator trailer

The Predator Trailer #1

It’s been several years since we’ve last seen a Predator movie. The last film, Predators, was an action-packed ride that most fans did like. This time around, the Predator is coming back to terrorize a new group of humans. Shane Black (Iron Man 3) directs an all-star cast that includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, and Jacob Tremblay. Also, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski are a part of the cast as well.

Today, 20th Century Fox released the very first The Predator trailer. Check it out!

Let this be a reason why you don’t let kids play with dangerous things. You let them play with them and an intergalactic hunter will go on a rampage. Seriously though, The Predator trailer doesn’t reveal much in terms of story but it does have that signature Shane Black quirks. Also, the rumors that the Predator is terrorizing a suburban neighborhood seems to be partly right. From the look of the trailer, it seems as if The Predator will mostly take place in the forest. Then again, this is a teaser trailer so with that in mind, it did its job. We’ll just have to wait and see if the film will live up to its great cast and crew.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The Predator hits theaters on September 18th.
