Little was known about the new ABC series Inhumans, as very few clips were shown on social media.
On Friday, during the Inhumans panel at San Diego Comic-Con, ABC premiered a longer trailer which displayed the abilities of each Inhuman from the Royal Family, including Medusa’s (Serinda Swan) hair.
In the trailer, we see the Inhumans, who are hiding on the moon, fear getting caught by the humans on Earth. Maximus (Iwan Rheon) grows tired of hiding and wants to takeover Earth. He creates mutiny against the ruler of the Inhumans, Black Bolt (Anson Mount), who also happens to be his brother. Bolt and his family escape to Hawaii to avoid persecution and fight against the upcoming battle between brothers and humans.
We see each Inhuman in the royal family use their powers, including Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor), Triton (Mike Moh), Karnak (Ken Leung), and Crystal (Isabelle Cornish).
In collaboration with Marvel, ABC, and IMAX, the first two episodes of the new series will be screened in IMAX theaters with the subsequent six episodes to air on ABC. Inhumans will premiere in IMAX theaters for a two-week period beginning September 1st, 2017. The TV premiere date will begin on Friday, September 29th at 8pm.
