Get ready for gaming and gambling, as GameStop Expo 2017 returns to Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will take place on Sunday, August 27th at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. And for the first time ever, consumers will have the opportunity to purchase accessories, unique pop culture novelty items and collectible merchandise from participating vendors. In addition to that, they can tour around more than 250,000 square feet of action-filled show floor. It features some of the video game industry’s top game title and hardware developers.
Also set to take place at GamesStop Expo will be the ESL Injustice 2 GameStop Hometown Heroes tournament finals. The tournament will see the winners from the eight regional finals compete for cash prizes.
Tickets for GameStop Expo 2017 will go on sale on June 1 at http://ift.tt/1KLyhfo. General admission tickets will be available for $40, and a limited number of VIP will be available for $110. VIP passes will give attendees early access to the show floor, an exclusive swag bag filled with gaming goodies, VIP lounge access and admission into the Injustice 2 tournament.
Afternoon passes for the GameStop Expo will also be available on-site for $20, which will get you into the show after 3:00 p.m. For those looking only to watch the Injustice 2 tournament in person, admission will be $10 and all admission fees will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s annual PLAY LIVE fundraising event.

GameStop Expo is going to be on a weekend, making it a first for the event. In previous years, it has only been open to the public on Wednesdays.
GameStop Expo has always been a fun event for gaming fans. Attendees can get hands-on with upcoming releases and purchase various collectibles, games and exclusives. Last year, over 3,000 attendees attended the event. It featured more than 110 different exhibitors including Sony, Microsoft, Square Enix, Activision and more.
