Last year Square Enix released Mobius Final Fantasy in the West for iOS and Android devices, a free-to-play mobile game based around deck building a character customization. It announced that it will be bringing the game to Steam on February 6th and will kick off with a special collaboration with the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The Steam release of Mobius Final Fantasy will have “full HD” resolution (1920×1080), will support up to 4K resolution and refresh rates between 60-120 fps and project leader Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that players will be able to transfer game data from the mobile version over to the Steam release.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration will use assets from the game including Cloud and the Mako Reactor, letting fans have a taste of the upcoming PlayStation 4 title which still has no release date. Players will join Cloud, who has gone astray in Palamecia, on his adventures and see how the story unfolds based on his decisions.
The Mobius Final Fantasy x Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration was released late last year in Japan. You can watch the Japanese trailer below.
