Billy Dee Williams once played district attorney Harvey Dent in Tim Burton’s Batman. He didn’t get to become Two-Face, the schizophrenic villain, but he will in the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie. Director Chris McKay has posted on Twitter that Williams will be voicing the character.
Will Arnett, who voiced Batman in The LEGO Movie, will be reprising his role with Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Mariah Carey as Gotham’s mayor, and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker.
Synopsis: In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
The film is written by Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter creator) with The LEGO Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller as producers. Dan Lin is also producing.
The LEGO Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10, 2017.
