Yesterday, Disney released the new poster for Rogue One, and teased that there would be a trailer following the next day. Alas, that day is finally here and it looks even better than the first trailer! In it, we see a slightly larger look of how integral Galen Erso (Mads Mikkleson) is to the creation of the Death Star, and somewhat the incident that leads him into that position. Which also happened to be saving his daughter Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) from the Empire at the same time. It appears that Jyn didn’t know her father was alive. There’s also a small bit of revealing how some of the Rebel crew come together, and how the designation of “Rogue One” was coined. You can catch a small glimpse of the badass himself, Darth Vader as well.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I can’t wait to see this film, as I’m already feeling like it might end up as my favorite in the Star Wars franchise as a whole. Are you excited for Rogue One?
